Chervil is used to season poultry, seafood, young vegetables (eg carrots), as well as in soups and sauces. As a fine herb it is added in the last stages of cooking.
From the same family as parsley, it has a faint taste of liquorice / aniseed. Makes a good addition to salads, omelets and soups.
