Madumbies are an indigenous starchy vegetable. They an excellent source of dietary fibre and contain a host of vitamins and minerals.
They are extremely toxic if ingested raw.
Cooked like potatoes or sweet potatoes. Madumbies can be boiled, roasted, grilled, or served as mash, chips or in stews.
